What is it about the magical red shoes, that inspires us to capture, collect, illustrate them?! I don't quite know, maybe it's because they're a little on the sassy side? Perhaps when we wear red shoes, we feel almost invincible? I'd love to know your thoughts on this, and please mention how many pairs of red shoes you own. I own 3 pairs, but am always on the watch!

i'm not sure what it is, perhaps it has something to do with Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz...the red shoes are our little way of escaping.
whatever the reason, i'm also a big fan, i have red shoes, boots, sandals and flip flops. a fiend, you might say.

I love red shoes. I used to own a pair, that I didn't think I would get much wear out of, but they ended up going with a lot of things in my closet. So much so, that I wore them out.

oh Ive always had a thing for red shoes - ever since high school when I had to have a pair of red suede adidas gazelles with white stripes - *love* - now its red patent leather kitten heels that make me blush but all the same - cant beat a great red shoe!
